Austin’s journey began thanks to a friend of a friend. When he moved to San Diego at age 18 and needed a job, he reached out and got connected. He started with on the job training, learning the basics of the trade while also taking a few community college classes, including business courses to help him understand the foundation of running a company.
He kept it simple at first, focusing on learning the tools and techniques of the job. Over time, his skills and confidence grew. Today, he is his own boss—and loving it.

At the beginning of this year, Austin bought the very company he started with. He proudly says he works for the best boss he has ever had—himself.
